Setting up digital billboard artwork:

1) Select the right size and resolution

The artwork you prepare must be 122 pixels high by 225 pixels wide, with a resolution of 72 dpi.

2) Safety margins for copy and logo

Keep your content simple, bold and brief. If you can comprehend your message in a 3-second glance, you’re on the right track.

Avoid large areas of white or bright red. White tends to display unevenly and is too bright at night; red can cause LED bleeding.

Darker coloured backgrounds work best.

3) Exporting your artwork

  1. Set your artwork colour to RGB.
  2. Export your work as a JPEG (no compression; ‘High Quality’ 8-10)
  3. Email your final artwork to [email protected] or your sales rep

Files should be provided trimmed to artboard with no bleed, trim marks or extra information outside the trim. Files requiring conversion or resizing may differ from the designer’s original intent.
